The Analytical Center for Leadership Research and Development (ACLRD) is the first organization of its kind in Eastern Europe. Devoted to establishing a solid foundation for the education and training of leaders, ACLRD will serve as a clearinghouse for an ever-growing body of empirical research. ACLRD soon will launch a peer-reviewed leadership journal in order to share the results of these research studies with leadership and social science scholars and practitioners across Eastern Europe and beyond.
Recently, ACLRD partnered with the “Studies of Changing Societies” journal in a special issue entitled “Emerging Leadership Principles and Practices in an Era of Globalization.” The special issue contains scholarly articles focused on leadership theory and praxis as they relate to other cultures (especially non-Western) around the globe. The purpose of this special issue was to introduce and to inform leadership practitioners and academics in Eastern Europe about the field of leadership and the potential it holds for impacting cultures across various sectors of society.
